Narrative Therapy Conversations with Lamisse

I’m currently undertaking a year-long project of working with writers for my Masters of Narrative Therapy and Community Work.

It is a gift to witness, and facilitate, people’s stories. For the last four years, I’ve been facilitating writing workshops on memoir, autobiography and life-writing. This has led me to to thinking deeply about the power of story in our lives, and to reflecting on the profound responsibility I felt in witnessing people’s stories. To extend on this work, I chose to undertake the Masters of Narrative Therapy and Community Work.

There is no cost to participating in this project, which means all your sessions are free.

I am looking to work with people who are:

  • Working with autobiographical content in writing (fiction and non-fiction) and stage (theatre, playwriting).

  • Working with complex content and/or trauma

  • Experiencing struggles in finding their voice

  • Experiencing blocks, both emotional and creative, in their writing

  • Interested in writing, journalling and other creative writing practices as tools for self-reflexive engagement

  • Want to resist, or refuse, dominating narratives, and investigate subjugated narratives within their writing

Interested?
